my 2006 burb doesn't have emblem on side by rear door why?

The manufacturer (Chevrolet) made 3 trim levels, LT, LS and Standard. The standard has no LS or LT on "C" post behind the rear door. The package of options can be ordered separately of the trim level. EX. My 2004 has LEather Seats, 6 way power seat for driver only, non-heated seats, sun roof, rear heat/AC, OnStar, and premium sound, but is not an LS nor an LT. And it does not come withthe 5.7 litre engine.

Is because you probably have the base model which doesn't have the badging.
