1980 ford bronco full-size won’t start with ignition

Asked by Sean1991patrick Jan 09, 2018 at 10:06 PM about the 1980 Ford Bronco

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a 1980 full-size bronco that doesn’t have a key
and I used the rod on top of the column to start it and
now that has stopped working. So now the only way to
start it is jump the starter solenoid and the solenoid is
brand new

Why not just change steering collums with one from a salvage yard that has a key ??? You can't fix things without throwing money at it
