Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 1983 Ford LTD Crown Victoria 5.0 TBI.  Looking at replacing the distributor as well as the cap and rotor.  What I need to know (besides the vacuum deal) is if it uses steel gears or cast iron gears.  I know that it's important to know this as using the wrong one will mess with the camshaft.
