I am buying a crown Vic ltd 83 I believe, what are some of the long term problems these cars have? Anything specific I should keep an eye on

The only thing you can really do is google "1983 Crown Victoria LTD. recalls". That will give you a list of the "known problems" that it has. Everything else is just a problem that all cars will have over time. It's an old car, so I wouldn't expect that it will run flawlessly.......

The only things I can think of is the passing gear cable grommet falls off at carb. and pcv filter screen plugs up.
