Rnova I do not own 07 civic sedan, but the only way to the battery is through an access point in the firewall.Look for a small plastic or rubber panel low on the firewall where there is nothing on either side of it,by the brake or gas pedal. If you cant locate one, what I had to do in my late model import was to drill a small hole in the firewall where there was nothing on either side and run my 12v line to the battery that way.I also had to install a round rubber grommet in the hole I drilled so the insulation of the 12v line would not be cut by the rough edge of the of the newly drilled hole, especially during driving, vibrations and such. As far as your ground goes you need to make sure your battery ground is the same as chassis ground for your car.If it is and the amp your wiring is a common ground amp,(not floating or isolated ground),then you can ground the amp to the chassis of the car. Check the specs on your amp first and then the ground system of your car.A way to get some info on your car specs as far as grounding, and stereo install general information is to visit www.crutchfield.com Hope this was helpfull stashley
stashley I'll try all of these-I'm just so scared of drilling but I guess as long as you make sure you hit nothing on the other side it should be OK. You brought up a good point on the grounding. I'll check with crutchfield too. Thanks for your help. -Rnova
