Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When pressing the brake pedal down the navigation and
radio control panel lights become dim and also when
pressing the brake pedal the headlights come on. Is this a
major concern and a costly repair?

1 Answer

There must be a short or a cross somewhere most likely between the wiring for your brake lights and head lights. The reason your navigation and radio backlights dim is because your headlights come on. Question: Do your headlights go out once you release the brake pedal?
