Question type: Car Customization

Hi. I have a 2001 Honda crv and was wondering if I

The question I have is why? I'm sure you can, but it would be all custom work. The CRV without a working engine is worth no more than a couple hundred dollars and you want to invest over $10K on a new drivetrain. Check out some Honda forums and search for engine swaps. You might be able to install an engine and trans with something newer than what you have into it for less money. Usually when installing an engine that wasn't designed for the vehicle, you are looking at new mounting points, replacing the transmission and other driveline components, wiring harness, and ECM and maybe other sensors.

With enough money anything automotive is possible. You could buy a new 2020 CRV for less than the conversion cost.

Pretty sure that if you are driving a 2001 Honda a 2020 model engine is not within your budget.
