Radiator leaking coolant, maybe?

Leaks coolant but level in radiator does not go down, reservoir seems to. Was
recently in for a new starter and this began before brought home. Mechanic
said maybe from radiator weld. What do you think?

If coolant is leaking, it will start to show at the leak and the level in the reservoir will go down due to that being the high point. If the radiator is still full, that is good, so you won't overheat. Add more coolant to the overflow to the min line everyday until you find the leak. It very well could be the radiator, but why guess? Perform a pressure test on the cooling system to find it quickly.
