2005 Honda CR-V Losing amperage over night
No mechanics have been able to crack this one
yet...
I have an '05 Honda CR-V made in England.
180,000+ miles. Never had a problem once it's
driving. I seem to lose power once I leave it for over
4-5 hours. I try to start it and it just has no power
(like a dead battery), or a little, but not enough to
turn it over. Brought it to two different mechanics.
Neither know what's going on. Battery is new,
tested and is good. Alternator works. Connnections
are tight. Ground straps look good. Relays aren't
drawing power...
Car wouldn't start yesterday and it was at 12.12 on
the multimeter. Once I jump it it's fine. When I get to
work I disconnect the battery so it doesn't drain and
I have no problems with It when I come back out
and reconnect it, because it doesn't lose any power.
Seems the problem is im losing amperage to start it
when I let it sit for a while. Only one time have I shut
off the car, tried to start it immediately after and it
wouldn't start. HELP!
