WILL NOT START UNTIL I SHAKE THE GREAR SHIFT.

I'd check shift interlock system. The shift lock solenoid may be connector shifter, maybe loose linkage or loose wiring? I can't tell w/o looking. Any applicable trouble codes? good luck
