88 honda prelude has been sitting for 3 years and has not been turned over. now it won't start

Drain out as much fuel that you can. Add some new fuel and B12by Chemtool to the fuel.
Thanks Tony I appreciate the help! Just one more question. Should you here the fuel pump engage when the ignition switch is turned? because I don't here any sound coming from the tank
That is a possible problem. I have read that if you don't hear it, the relay could be bad. Did you try spraying some starting fluid into the intake?
The fuel pump must have stuck. This is a common problem with vehicles without any use for long periods. Check it and replace if it is stuck. You can try with the starter fluid to see if it's a fuel issue. Hope this helps

I had the same problem also with an 89 prelude 2.0si that has sat for 6 years changed pump and filter and coil pack will fire with starting fluid but will not continue running any ideas?
