Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2000  s10 blower started not working on all speeds slowly they all quit working
and so I did what all parts stores love and purchased the blower then the
resistor checked all fuses relays and jumped the blower old one it worked
anyway could or does THE SPEED CONTROL KNOB  switch run the blower ?
