i have continuity from the relay to the pump, but no power to the pump

There is a ground issue, need to check the ground wire to complete the circuit.

i have continuity through all the wires including the ground all the way back to the relay and power at the relay though? thats where im confused ill check em again

that was the first thing i did. the customer came in and asked that i out in a fuel pump they provided. did that and it still didnt work so i tried the relay that didnt work so i put in another pump and still nothing so i started tracing wires and thats where im at right now I have continuity throughout all the wires and power nto the one end but not the other thats making me lean toward the vcm because it had started to sputter around 80mph and the gauges are acting a little fuckey

but im not entirely confident on condemning that part yet i feel like im missing something really stupid

Check the wires in your steering column going into the ignition switch i just went through the same problem with my 95 1500. When i moved the wires around my truck fired right up. It was a pink wire
