So yes, check the fuel injectors plugins with a noid light to see if there is a injection pulse. Otherwise you have a fuel pressure issue, I don't no why you would bypass the fuel pump, you need fuel pressure for it to run. Fuel pressure should be 56 to 63 lbs. Once you build up fuel pressure on a fuel pressure gauge, turn the key off and let it sit. The fuel pressure should not drop more than 5 lbs in 3 minutes. If it does, then there is a problem with the spider injection leaking, and would need to be replaced.

I have a 1998 Chevy silverado when I turn the key on the fuel pump primes up as it should and I go to crank it and it starts for about 2-3 seconds and then dies 4 Answers

I have a brand new sending unit and fuel pump and there is plenty of fuel pressure and spark cause if I take some starting fluid and spray it into the throttle body it will run fine, I'm stumped ...

so the other day i moved my 1997 chevy k1500 in my driveway and put my plow on then let it run for a while. I came bacj to it about 30 mins later and it was dead. I tried to crank it but got nothing. after going over everything replacing coil icm ecm crank sensor cam sensor plugs wires complete distributer from cap to oil pump . I have spark but when it it reaches distributer i get no spark to wires. Any ideas? I have never seen this before, im at a loss, please help!! 7 Answers
