95 chevy 1500 305 motor wont start

My 95 chevy was running great. Drove it from
california to texas for work 6 times. All of a sudden
it died at about 55 mph as if i shut off the ignition. I
waited 30-40 minutes and it would start again then
die almost exactly 5 miles down the road. Now it
wont start at all. I put new plugs and wires, new
fuel pump and filter, and new battery. It turns over
just wont start. Does anyone have any ideas as to
what my issue is?
