Motor and transmission question

My husband has a 95 s10 I pick up that has a
4cylinder and was wanting to know if could change
the 4 cylinder motor to a 6 cylinder and it bolt up to
the transmission

Yes, but also would need the computer and wiring harness to run the 4.3L V6. Also probably the motor mounts and such items.
