What plug do i need for my gas tank?

i have a 1991 chevy silverado i recently put a different gas tank in and now
the gas gauge always reads full. the guy that did it said the plugs from the
tank didnt match the trucks so i need to get an adapter. but i dont know what
to get or how to fix it.

A gas gauge that always reads full is a bad power wire connection. You'll need to find out what vehicle the gas tank came out of and buy a fuel pump pigtail for it and splice it to your vehicle's wiring harness. Not the way I would do it. But since you already have the tank installed, I think that's the easiest way to go. Hope that helps! Jim
