i have a 2006 toyota avalon with 62000 miles and ive noticed that the rides are becoming more stiff and hard, not smooth. any suggestions?

Yep, time for new struts all around. Your Avalon has struts front and rear, and if they have never had new ones put on, it's just about time. They last about 60,000 to 90,000 miles or 10 years maximum.
