Unable to remove spark plug to 06 Toyota Camery

looks like part of the coil broke off. hard to tell with the pic. if it was me I would use a long pick to get it out.
or a screw driver if its an issue with getting down on the plug itself...also spray a good amount of wd-40 in there and let it sit a few min..and a 12 point socket will help...
Get a metal coat hanger and cut a piece of and bend the end into a small "L" and dig the rest of the coil boot out. Then you should be able to get a socket on the plug. In the picture the plug looks like it is missing part of the HEX that the socket grabs. I hope that is not the case, because it will be hard to get out.
Thank you all for your reply and suggestion. Bob, it wasn't missing HEX. We were able to get the plastic substance off but I'm concern where the plastic came from.
The picture didn't look good. Glad the HEX was still there! Plastic could be from a old deteriorated plug boot. Might have been there since before you owned it, unless you are the original owner. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
What Engine? Any warning lights ON or Flashing? Was this Engine Misfiring? You might consider changing the Ignition Coil assembly that installs over that SP.
No engine lights. I'm not the original owner. We were able to get the spark plug out but when we turn the motor on we hear loud bang and then it started.
Soo.....now this engine runs good with no warning lights on or flashing..... when the engine is running?
