What could cause the airconditioning system of a 2006 corolla to stop working over night?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Driving home one night my airconditioning was working just fine. The next morning I don't have any air at all blowing from the vent (either cold or hot). Before I bring it to the dealership can any one offer any advice or opinions on whats going on?

Do you live in Phoenix? That Toyota AC should last a long time- if no air is blowing, it could be just the blower motor, the fan, which might be just a fuse or relay or something simple- can you feel the compressor come on when you switch the control to AC?

I live in GA. No compressor or anything. When I switch the ac from off to on, no noise at all. It's as if I didn't even try turning it on. I was thinking a fuse or fan myself, just don't want to get taken at the shop when I bring it in.
This probably is not the cause but FYI: ...Toyota Corolla Air Conditioning Problems All Models 2005-2006 If you or someone you know has problems with their Toyota Corolla years 2005-2006 needs to know this information. It costs $300 to repair the A/C condenser and $300 in labor for a total of $600. It is important that you as a consumer knows exactly what your rights are.......Toyota has issued a Technical Service Bulletin indicating that the A/C condenser is not properly protected the number for this report is AC002-06. However, Toyota has redesigned the Corolla to correct this in 2007 by properly protecting the A/C condenser leaving the 2005-2006 customers in the dust. Please contact Toyota if you have this issue at 1-800-331-4331 or customerservice@toyota.com and tell them that you demand total replacement of the A/C condenser and full protection. Then go to www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ and lodge a vehicle complaint to force a recall. //// I did not buy an extended warranty.... service agreement whatever you want to call it and The Dealer will not even look at my car unless I sign a service order, which I won't do, and I have begun to have problems with my A/C. If enough of us will go to that website and complain hopefully Toyota will issue a recall Thank You for taking the time to read this.
My car is doing the same thing now did you find out what the problem was?
My air on my 2011 corolla was not cool so I cleaned the cabin filter out , it was filled with dirt to the top. Now it gets cold. U tube has a video on how to change filter , very easy to Do your self. If not work then could be more difficult problem.
Oh my! The air is losing its coldness after 4 days I hope I just need a recharge.the cabin filter obviously has never been changed, I hope it didnt mess up the whole system.

1990 TOYOTA COLL THE COOL FAN DOES NOT COME ON AND THE AC WANT COME ON IT USE TO WORK I THINK THERE IS NO POWER GETING TO THE COOL FAN AND AC
I have 2004 toyota corolla I want to know if it has one fan for AC as well as radiator? I have problem with AC some time cool air comes on and sometimes it turns off. I found the radiator fan when on I get cool air but when it stops I get air but no cool air. Can any one tell me how to fix it>
Bought Toyota 2013 in June 2013. Was told needed air cabin filter Jan 2016. Took car in May 2018 cuz air conditioner w cool, not cold enough. Car w given back w hot air n when I lower fan, air blows harder. I'm furious. Toyota asking $1700. For compressor n amplifier. I feel mechanic caused more damage. Paperwork states tech found R134 low. Recharged w dye, system then started to pressure release from compressor. Tech says compressor short circuit into amplifier cause R134 to pressure release when system is full. Does this make sense n why is it hotter when I had cool air before I took in, just not cold like when I purchased
