2005 highlander engine will not rev up

This could be related to bad fuel,did you put fuel stabalizer in it before storage,all so may help to add new fuel and change the filter.

Actually the mechanic found a mouse nesting under the air filter and a bare wire connection witch affected a fuse causing this problem. Thanks for all your input.
