Started wrong car while jumping. Any risk of damage?
Hi all,
I was asked to jumpstart a car recently. We carefully hooked up the cables in the correct order. After
connecting the cables, the dead car's alarm started going off- a good sign. But then, we tried to turn on the
dead car FIRST, instead of the good car like we should have done. We realized this, tried it the regular way,
and now the dead car won't turn on or make any noise. We left the good car on for at least 10 minutes but
still no luck. We think it's because we tried turning on the wrong car first. Is this the case? Any thoughts? Do
you think any damage was done by turning on the wrong car?
