My highlander stopped in motion right in the middle of the highway a couple of days ago and would not start again,I called in my mechanic and he said it was the fuel pump, we changed the fuel pump and filter and it was okay for 2 days but today after driving around for a few hrs, stopped somewhere and it would not start again.all the lights come on but it just rolls and does not start, pls advise.

I would have your ignition switch examined. Grand Ams are notorious for this issue. If the ignition switch is faulty and it gets bumped around from normal driving it could short out. This would leave you stranded every time.
Thanks so much, I'll have it checked out and give you an update.
I've had the ignition checked and apparently it's ok, something else was discovered, some sensor in the engine when it was replaced the car started.
