My cooling fans do not activate
5 Answers
The fuses seem to be OK. There is Fan 1 and 2 and 3 and they all seem to work fine.
It did reach a certain temp. Then the radiator burst....the fans do not turn on no matter how hot it gets in there..
I discovered the sending unit right next to the green coolant temp switch which I replaced. It looks black and corroded and generally worn out. I wriggled the connector to it and yes, the fans activated! However, it is now back to its old self after a test drive. I need to replace this switch right next to the ect unit but what do I call it?
