my fans are not working how do i fix that

Not even when you turn on A/C? Fuse. If they come on with A/C probably temperature sending unit failed and does not command the relay to kick them on

They should only come on at an idle when engine gets hot or when your ac is turned on. Are they coming on when you turn on the ac? Is your car overheating when you come to a stop like at a red light but cooling off when doing normal highway driving? If so it is a fan issue.

dandy nobody in the world types slower than my two finger hunt and peck..then going back and fixing all the words with squiggly red lines under them...but matter of fact I wrote it and it sat for a couple minutes because forgot to post it..DOH!

Some of the Camry's have two small radiator fans Judge

and control of both of them are in tandem or one comes on and the other when it gets hot or the a/c is engaged? there is a relay we can check? or I'm gonna be checkin' the facts?...waiting for your expert knowledge (that way I won't be the one who has to carry the bricks in my teeth)~ and the thermo-switch on the radiator? on the block? on one of the coolant lines? somewhere?~

no mark helpful...I believe this to be the solution the so called "temperature sending unit" as H25 put it....a thermal switch tells the fans to come on....OR NOT come on because it is clobbered with corrosion~

Judge I recently discovered that on the Camry one fan is for radiator and other is for A/C condenser. A question cam eup about this very same subject..and a month ago when we were here I had no clue that was the sit ye way shun

Mr H25, I did suggest the one fan comes on with temp and the other with the A/C at one points in this transgression~ a bit idiotic but assures the moto won't cook the sausages~

Did you find a resolution? Mine is doing the same thing. Makes the car run hot when I stop with or without AC one. 09 Camry le 2.4

just replaced the radiator and seems to be fine. No overheat, not losing antifreeze. BUT neither fan will come on in the past 15-25 minutes of driving. Trying AC now but nothing still. Its only about 40 degrees out so not sure if we are just waiting for it to get hot???
