How to fix sliding seats on 98 vette

my seats slide a quarter of an inch forward and backward during breaking and acceleration.  i can't seem to find a fix for this.  does anyone have any pointers or ideas?  i need your help.  thanks.

Have you checked the seat mounts? Something down there has to be broken. I would pull the whole seat out and get a visual.

might not like my idea but being a vetteget seat where you want it and tac weld it seat will stay put and can knock tac weld off when you want.just a thought.
