Any car will last well beyond 150K if it has been taken care of. (This is especially true of little japanese four bangers though) Bear in mind that any high mileage car is going to require regular maintenance. Frequent oil changes are non negotiable! you must keep up with the regular maintenance. If you treat the car well, it will last for years. If you buy a high mileage used car you should do a few things ASAP when you get it home. 1. Change the oil regardless of when the last owner said he or she did it. 2. Tune it up with new spark plugs, wires and distributer cap and rotor (About 90 bucks for all from O'reilly) and 3. replace the air and fuel filter. Be sure to check the belts too and replace as necessary. Initial expense might be a pain but well worth it for many miles of trouble free motoring.... Good luck!
