Question type: Car Customization

A friend has an 05 vette who wants to replace the standard exhaust system or mufflers for a more deep throaty sound.  Any suggestions? Paul

WHY? The exhaust is stainless steel. Will last a long time. Does he have a LOOK AT ME attitude? That was High school. Be Mature & save money. Leave it alone.

it all erally depends on how much money you wanna spend. the best sound for a corvette is gonna be borla. but ur looking at spending alot there. personally i like SLP loudmouths but flowmaster is a good one too.

Actuyally, I miss the good old days of loud deep throaty V-8s. Today's newer cars seem to not have the bubble or babble sound no matter what is done. Maybe it's the changing of the firing order or cats that ruined it. Go to a Corvette gathering and listen for what you like. Ask and compare before making a money exchange and then not being happy with what you got. I have Flowmasters on my older Corvette and love them. Bora is great, and expensive compared to others.
