Did you happen to notice the Check Engine Light ON when the engine is running? You might need a throttle body and IAC cleaning

Engine light not on.few days back after rain,it began stopping while driving on the road after taking jerks.i started on second ignition.then today i guess battery gone

Omi123, sounds like you may have a spark issue. Fill a water bottle with a spray top and mist down your plug wires with the car running. If you notice any snapping noises or the engine bogs down, you have bad wires. Not sure if you have coil packs or the old style distributor on that model year, but spray those down as well. You should also notice the engine bogging down as well. That jerking feeling is a good clue that you have a spark leak. If no results with the water, check your vac lines. Post back with findings.
