Left my 1997 corolla idling for over 7 hrs. Any thoughts on problems as result?

Does it run ok? Have you checked engine oil, trans fluid, coolant? Once got caught on the highway in a snow storm because they were waiting for the snow to ease up before running the snow plows through the mountain pass. Was in the car for five hours with the engine idling. No problem what so ever. We were the lucky ones because later on people were stuck in their cars all night with their engines idling.
I would say just check your fluids. You may want to take it to a Toyota dealer to check it out.

as long as the fluid levels are good and she didn't overheat I would say you are fine.
Police cars idle all the time nothing special about them. Although idling isn't the best thing for an engine it really won't cause any problems. Just check fluids when you can.
Opinion#5 that you are fine. Just do as everybody said.
Continued...I was up at 4:30AM when I posted that. 2006 Corolla LE: I had a similar experience as ytlas on Interstate 15 in Calif, a mountain pass and 3 years ago in a snowstorm a big-rig jacknifed, and of course people were going 70 and it turned in to an 11 car and truck pile-up. I was about 1½ miles behind, and then with traffic stopped there was a secondary 6 car pile-up behind us, so nowhere to go, couldn't back- up and was stuck for 5+ hours @ 25° while they cleaned up and did an investigation (there was a double fatality so the CHP took their time, but officers walked down the line of cars asking if everybody was OK, needed anything, had bottled water, and get this: cut a hole in the freeway fence so people could go behind bushes to do "business" The CHP was wonderful). All totaled I idled for nearly 6 hours, gas gauge barely moved..It consumed about 2 gallons..... and no problems whatsoever. It's harder on an engine to shut off/re-start over and over, as it cools moisture collects in crankcase and starting uses enough power that alternator at idle would take a while to re-charge..I say "a while" because I don't know the real numbers.
Hey, mine was also on 15. We were stuck in Hesperia waiting for the Cajon Pass to be cleaned out. By the time we moved there was two feet of snow all around. For us SoCal people that's a very big deal.
