After disconnecting the battery, How do you deactivate the system?

Hi tshardeb! If you don't have the owners manual handy you may want to talk to the service manager of your local Toyota dealer. Chances are that once you give your VIN# and/or establish ownership, the dealer will give you the sequence needed to reset the anti-theft system. Hope that helps. Good luck!
dealership if you cant do it your self. Usually this happens with aftermarket alarms. Disconnect the battery unlock or lock the car, the alarm sould still work for 20 seconds. connect the battery and lock/unlock the car. Just do variations of locking and unlocking the car because every alarm system is different so i dont know the 100% procedure. This this a couple of time just play with the alarm remote. If you dont have the alarm remote GL!
I had the same problem. With my car we found that you have to have the hood, trunk and all the doors closed before you can start the car. In our case, we took the battery out and charged it, then put it in and closed the car and started it.
How do anti their off a 98Toyota Avalon. Red security light is blinking and want allow the car to start.
I found in some other posts about the battery being low or dead. jump you car with another car. its worth the few minutes try. Hope it helps
I have had the same problem and heres how to get around it. 1. When alarm is going open hood and find the main fuse box. ( fuses for A/C - starter .ect) 2. Find the 15 amp fuse for AML while keys are not in ignition and pull it out. 3. While it is pulled out put your key in the ignition and turn it all the way to the right on position as far as it can go, and let go of it. Do not turn it back to the left. 4. Return fuse to box. You will here a click noise resetting the starter box or whatever its called. 5. Return to car and give the key a slight right turn to start the car. If it dont start then try to turn it completely off after returning fuse to box then back on. I've heard of people needing to do it that was as well.
I have a 1995 Avalon put a new alternator in today fans go off and on could be the battery
Test your fans and fan connection first. Use a test light to see if you are getting a consistent power flow. If your dials are off and fans are still cycling you have a bigger problem.
Anyone removing your Avalon battery. Turn your key to ON. Then once you change the battery the car should crank without a problem. No alarm.
Can not change the year to 2019 on my Toyota avalon 2001. It goes to 2018 then back to 1999. We had work done on car so had to reset. Also we are in Florida and what Zone are we?
Use the year 2002 and put in today's date. It will show the correct day.
Had this problem on 2013 Avalon. Pulled out old battery and attempted to install new battery. Connected positive cable first then ground cable. With head under the hood, the alarm went off and I could not stop it. The doors locked and the display was on in the car. The remote device was disabled. After searching the internet and owner's manuals, I could not find a solution. Then it dawned on me, there is a physical key in the remote. I used the key to unlock the door and pushed the start button. The alarm was reset and the problem solved.
