10 days should be OK unless you know that the car has a battery drain.
10 days isn't that terribly long, most cars should be able to handle that length of storage and still start. Cars of your era weren't so hard on batteries like cars today. You can always slap a battery tender or float charger on it to keep battery fully charged. Just note, a float charger can be left unmonitored and will keep a battery topped off, where as a regular battery charger or trickle charger is meant to be used for only a short period of time and monitored. If I leave a vehicle stored for a month or more I put a float charger on it.
Thanks a Million Your a Champ !!! i'll leave it be and it should start after 10 days ..it was just that my dad told me decades ago to disconnect my car battery I had a XF sedan ..and i went on Army exercise for 3-6 weeks sometimes Thx again Chris
With new cars you want to keep batteries in them at all times, use a float charger if leaving them sit for a long period of time, and if you have to swap a battery out, use a battery tender or "minder" to keep all those computer modules and factory settings connected.
