Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Toyota Corolla AE 101, 1994 model with a 4A engine (using Carberator). When I go a few
miles,
the car would cutting off like it don't have any gas (but have). The compression rings and carberator
was
changed, now the car has a high rev, not idling properly, overheating and when I sometimes put it in
reverse it would cut off. What is the issue here?

Is the throttle plate sticking open? Throttle cable snagged? Return spring too weak? Vacuum leak? Could be one of those things.
