short shifter

Hi Im wanting to get my husband who is deployed a new shifter for his new mr2! He use to have one when we first got together but then had to sell it.... Anyways I just wanted to know what a good short shifter is and if i can get a colored carbon fiber one? Im not good with car stuff at all but I know he would LOVE it!

if for the colored part u were talking about the knob on top, then yes u can buy those very easily....and is he looking to have the shift stick height shortened as well? or just have the shift throw shortened?...check out this site, i havent bought a part off it that was less than i expected.... http://www.yourhotcar.com/product/list/Toyota/MR2/Performance_Parts/Short_Shifters/

try andysautosport.com as well, I'm not sure what year your husbands is but I bought the TRD brand short shifter through them for my 1988 MR2 and it's been an excelent investment.
