fuel pump not working

Hi Kumole, I agree it may not be your fuel pump. You can access the pump under your back seat, underneath the cloth under there. You will iummediately see the plug and the screws to open the little hatch. My 1986 Camry also has a problem with not getting any fuel and thought it was the fuel pump. turns out I keep blowing my efi fuse so i unplug the power wires to the fuel pump and it still keeps blowing the 51a efi fuse. So we have narrowed it down to being an electrical problem. We think it is a shortage or a bad relay. So do not instantly run out and think it is your fuel pump. If you are blowing fuses unplug the power wires to the fuel pump and try to crank the car if the fuse still blows then it is not a bad pump, if it does not blow then there is a shortage in the wires in your fuel pump.
