is there an easy way to replace the water pump?

i went a got a new water pump because my old one froze and is leaking quite badly out the spindle that attaches to the pulley. is there an easy way to take the old one off? it is quite a tight fit already.

There is no easy way, all you can do is try removing things around it to get as much room as possible but get ready for scraped hands and knuckles. I hate front wheel drive cars.
