HOW DO I REMOVE THE POWER ANTENNEA FROM MY 89 CORVETTE?

Asked by CARMAC Jan 07, 2007 at 05:01 PM about the 1989 Chevrolet Corvette

Question type: General

THE OLD POWER ANTENNA DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE HELD IN PLACE BY ANY KIND OF BRACKET AS THE CHILTON'S BOOK INDICATES, BUT I CANNOT GET IT LOOSE.

Hey carmac. If the Chilton's isn't any help to you then I have to admit to being a bit at a loss, not be able to lay eyes on the car. One place to get some help would be your local car audio shop. They see a lot of antenna installations and could be pretty familiar with the set up on your Vette. They might know a secret about that particular model year, or know a source for additional info. Good luck
