Burgony, check ( google) 1963 Chevrolet color charts, it might be in there.
its burgandy , there is no maroon color on gm cars. for the original color check the code on the data plate located on the driver side on the fire wall.
The car has an after market hood painted the same color, so my first guess is it may not be factory paint. Most reliable car repair paint shops have a machine or device that can read the color and give a formula to mix paint that matches. If the car has sat in the elements for any length of time, it will not look right to have old paint with new paint. If that is a concern, try painting the entire car with the same color as close as you can match it.
