steps to replace fuel pump

Remove the gas tank skid plate. Open the drain plug and drain the fuel. Unbolt the fuel tank and drop it down as far as the fuel lines will allow. Unbolt the flange that all of the fuel lines go into. Pull the fuel tank sending unit out of the tank. Now you should see the fuel pump. Undo the wiring and the hose clamps holding it in. Installation is reverse order.
