I'd have to say the front wheel drive. But no matter what, you are still going to slide if going too fast.
Proper tires and/or chains are the key to traction on ice.
The only thing that is good on ice is sitting in your chair in your livingroom.
I was good on the ice, won the winter Olympics they have for the high schools up here in the U.P. for the 440 dash.
