Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Asking price is $1200 - I don't think I should pay that much. Am I right?

The price on this older vehicle really depends on its mechanical condition and overall appearance. Even if this 1986 Toyota Corolla w/ 200,000 miles on it was in great condition, I would only offer something like $750. Chances are the seller is pricing his car high hoping to get what he/she is asking for it, but most likely they know that a lower bid will probably come in. I don't trust the smaller, 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine that I believe this car has to last much longer, but I could be proven wrong. Good luck.

HI I JUST BOUGHT ONE I LOOKED IT UP THE USED CAR VALUE HAD IT AROUND 1700 TO JUST OVER 2000 THE ONE I BOUGHT HAS 128K ON IT AND IT WAS A JOB TO GET IT FOR 1600 TO BE HONEST IF NOTHING IS A MATTER WITH IT THEN THESE DAYS IT IS HARD TO FIND ANYTHING RUNNING GOOD FOR UNDER A 1000 AND IF THAT IS LIKE MINE IT GET 30 MPG WHICH HELPS THE COMMOIN SENSE OVER SPENDING THAT MUCH FOR A OLD CAR A LITTLE EASIER
