What performance upgrades an i do on my 1980 toyota celica gt liftback

First thing to do is the make sure you have the fuel system cleaned out. Run a bottle of sea foam through your fuel. Then you could get a new air filter. If this doesn't get you the power you need you will need to get a turbo charger.

whats it got in it a 20r? Your not getting much power out of that. The best you can do it make sure it is in good shape tune up wise. Or engine swap

swap for a 22r. much more options.
