Will changing the size of the rims on my c4 1984 corvette cause my transmission to strain or have negative repercussions on my vehicles handling/ turning ability?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I understand that you get what you pay for but I'm wondering if anyone could
tell me what is a fair price for having my head gasket replaced or would it be
better to replace the engine which will/should cost how much to be installed.

That first year of the C4 is a notorious nightmare- I wouldn't spend a penny on one of those- or buy one in the first place- a money pit-
