a/c system

if you havent retro fit this car yet you will need to do so. then vacc out system and add r134 freon

What is a retro fit? I need to fix the A/C in my '82 Toyota Cressida. It doesn't hold a charge. Can I do this myself or should I have it done? Who's the best kind of A/C fixer for these old cars? We love this old car and want to re-do the whole thing. I'll need new seat re-upholstery and carpet too...paint job, etc. I think it's good for another 100K mi! /j/
