Sorry, joe999, but the fueleconomy.gov site, which publishes mileage stats, goes back only as far as 1985. The '85 Cressida, which had a 2.8-liter, six-cylinder engine, got 18/22 with a manual transimission and 17/22 with an automatic. Hope that helps!

it's going to be similar to the above figure but very dependent on how well the engine is running. any broken hoses or clogged filters will drop the economy
