my interior lights stay on for 15 minutes after the vehicle has been exited, how can i shorten the time the lights stay on ??

No details on which interior lights or if they ever go out? 15 minutes is about the time it takes for the car to automatically shut them off after the engine is shut off for battery protection. Ditto for the stereo. Maybe you have them switched on and they only get automatically turned off when the engine is shut off by the system after 15 minutes

Yea I would check your dimmer switch to be sure that you do not have it switched on. You should be able to feel a detent where it goes from high to always on when turning the knob.
