my 1985 chevy blazer will turn on but wont turn off i have changed the ignition switch and it still wont turn off one other thing is that when i turn a hard left it will shut off maybe that has something to do with it

Dear erikdahlbeck-- That probably does have something to do with it and I would have to take a look in person to see what that hard left turn is doing. Normally I would say it was the timing, the knock sensor, the idle stop solenoid or the air cleaner temperature sensor. Get someone knowledgeable to take a look under the hood. Good luck from Bovan.

I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer, 4x4, 4.3 vortec. We have changed the coil pack, fuel filter, distributor cap and button, the crank shaft sensor, cam sensor and plug wires as well as the ignition control module. We coming to a stop sign it will stall and sometimes when just sitting still. Sometimes it will start right back up and other times it takes several tries. I also have the oxygen sensor on order and it should be here tomorrow. Fuel pressure tested perfectly. No black smoke, no smell of rotten eggs or the cat glowing red.
