Our vehicle the key had gotten jammed; ignition would turn but key would not come out. We got the key to come out but now it is always on the "ON" position, so we shut off the vehicle manually and turn on through the battery. How can we fix this?

You will need to change the ignition switch as the tumblers went bad inside of it. If you can get the switch apart, you can manually start it with a slotted screwdriver, as the end of the ignition switch inside the column has a rectangle shaped tab on it that rotates and turns the mechanism inside the steering column when the key is turned to start position. You have to remove the steering wheel to get at the set screw that holds the ignition switch inside the steering column to change it. There isn't any electrical to the key switch, that is all connected to the mechanism that the key switch turns, so it's a fairly easy repair once you pull your steering wheel and remove the turn signal mechanism.

I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer, 4x4, 4.3 vortec. We have changed the coil pack, fuel filter, distributor cap and button, the crank shaft sensor, cam sensor and plug wires as well as the ignition control module. We coming to a stop sign it will stall and sometimes when just sitting still. Sometimes it will start right back up and other times it takes several tries. I also have the oxygen sensor on order and it should be here tomorrow. Fuel pressure tested perfectly. No black smoke, no smell of rotten eggs or the cat glowing red. My 2002 Chevy Blazer is not starting, Sounds like it is fuel starved. Just filled the tank and got home fine next day it doesnt start. It turns over for a second and then wont stay on on. if i keep trying it sounds more like it isnt getting fuel. I am thinking since I let the tank get low to check m,y milage I may have picked up some gunk in the tank and cloged the line somewhere.
