my blazer wont go out of first gear. it gets stuck at 25 mph, and then just revs...no power

any ideas? everyone thinks it has something to do with the transmission. i did have an overheat just before this happened. i filled up on transmission fluid, and still nothing. even put in a brand new radiator. please help

This definitely sounds like a transmission issue. Take it into a shop that specializes in transmissions. They will be able to at least diagnose the issue and put your mind to rest.
