How reliable is the 6.2 diesel motor?"

Looking to purchase a 86 blazer with a 6.2.  Is there a "red" version to the motor?  I have heard they are a great motor?  I hope I am right.  Need help from/with anyone who has had one.

they were all a red color from factory , yes its a great engine, if cared for properly ive seen them go 2 o3 hundred Kmiles
